Apologies for the picture heavy post, but I had such a good night I just had to give you a snapshot of what went on!
Last Tuesday I was lucky enough to head over to the Vita Liberata event at The Scotsman Hotel Spa in Edinburgh. It was an absolutely stunning venue and I would love to go back for a treatment at the spa as it is beautifully designed and has the most gorgeous relaxation room complete with suspended swing chair - that would be the picture of me grinning like a maniac!
I have to commended everyone who worked on the event and everyone who attended because the atmosphere was amazing: fun, sparkly and friendly. It was one of those events where the time just flies past and before you know it you have to go without having spoken to everyone you wanted to speak to!
Hats off to the Vita Liberata girls - I can't remember the last time I met brand ambassadors who were that helpful, informative and just so darn nice! No question was too small or obvious and I really enjoyed chatting to them.
Previous to this event I hadn't really known much about Vita Liberata other than the fact that they produced a three week tan! Bad beauty blogger...
I was impressed to learn they put a high premium on being an organic, non toxic, and all round nasty free brand. If they can't make a product that subscribes to those standards they don't make it - simple! I was also surprised to see how popular they were in the star studded land, having done all the tanning for X-Factor last year and being used in some pretty up market joints, including some seriously impressive Dubai hotels. With all round good reviews from some hard hitters in the industry I am keen to try out the goodies I received!
I've already has a go of the Rich Medium Tan, and whilst not quite as foolproof as Xen Tan for tan-useless me, it has left me with a lovely glow, not to dark, just sun kissed, which I quite like. I'm also keen to try some of the Illuminating Skin Finish as a highlight and as an all over body 'glow' for the next time I go out.
The event was made that much better by the fact that all the new bloggers I met were lovely! Plus, I got to hang out with the gorgeous Laura from Liparazzi before and after the event, and I got to meet one of my favourite Scottish bloggers, Gillian from Elevator Musik, who has some serious style!
Have you ever tried anything from the brand before? What do you think about blogger events?
