Current Hair Routine

Hey girls!

I hope you are all having a fun Saturday whether you're chilling like me or going out and doing something exciting. I'm spending the weekend chilling, blogging and getting some Uni work in order at the boy's flat. We're also going to cook a lot and attempt to make cheesecake - can you tell I'm getting to be a foodie these days?

Today I thought I'd show you want I'm using to try and attain long, shiny healthy hair. Before this year I'd pretty much neglected my hair unless I was getting it dyed, but now I want it to grow faster I'm trying to keep it in better condition.

Morrocanoil (£30.45) - I use this on the ends of my hair when it's damp to help keep them smooth when I dry my hair. I use two pumps for my whole head because it's very easy to make yourself look like a grease ball and no-one wants to look like they've stuck their head in a chip pan.

Philip Kingsley Elasticizer (£22.30) I love this stuff. I put it in my hair after a bath and sleep with it on all night and wash it out in the morning. I do this about twice a week and I've really noticed a difference in my hair. It's much smoother and softer and all in all just feels better during the day.

Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique (£16.05) - I put this in my hair when I know I'm going to be using heat on it because it's a heat protectant and a strengthener in one. It helps to fortify weak hair and can be used in conjunction with other products, which is great because I can layer and not worry about having sticky hair at the end of styling. My hair has been dyed to within an inch of its life so I'm hoping this will help strengthen it up a bit.

Lee Stafford Hair Growth Treatment (7.99) - This stuff is great! It smells amazing (like sweets) and leaves my hair so detangled after the shower it's a joy to brush. It actually works as well! When I was using this with my red hair my roots definitely came in faster than without it. So I'm going to start remembering to use it every time I was my hair from now on.

L'Orea Elnett heat Protectant Spray (5.99) - I use this every time I wash my hair to protect and add a little more volume. My full review can be found here.

What are your hair heroes?

  2. Moroccan oil is brilliant! My hair heroine has to be Tresseme Naturals Conditioner, I go through that stuff so much!
